BJ Construction LLC ("BJ Construction," "we," "us," or "our") is a family-owned concrete contractor based in Green Lake, Wisconsin. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website at bjconcretewi.com and our related pages (including greenlakeconcrete.com and centralwiconcrete.com) and our contact and estimate request form, and how we use, share, and protect that information.
1. Information You Provide to Us
We collect information you choose to give us directly, including:
- Contact and estimate requests. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name and phone number (required), and your email address, the type of service you're interested in, and any project details or message (optional). We use this to respond to your request and provide an estimate.
- Visualizer sign-in. When you sign up for our stamped-concrete visualizer, you provide your first name, last name, email address, and phone number. We sign you in using a one-time "magic link" sent to your email; we do not ask for or store a password.
2. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, some information is collected automatically:
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (for example, which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive). Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited, and sets cookies to do so.
- Advertising measurement. We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising — for example, to know when a contact request or visualizer sign-up resulted from an ad.
- Cookies and local storage. We use cookies and your browser's local storage to keep you signed in to the visualizer, remember your cookie-consent choice, and support analytics. See "Cookies and Your Choices" below.
- Bot and abuse prevention. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help verify that form submissions come from real people and to reduce spam and abuse.
- Server logs. Our web server records standard technical information such as IP address, request time, and browser user-agent for security and troubleshooting.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your contact and estimate requests and communicate with you about your project.
- To create your visualizer account and let you sign in.
- To measure and improve our website, marketing, and advertising.
- To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse, and to keep the site secure.
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Cookies and Your Choices
When you first visit the site, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies; your choice is stored in your browser. You can also control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work, but you can still browse the site and contact us.
To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, you can install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Where your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it where we are able to.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate the website and its features, and only as needed for them to perform their services:
- Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and image storage (stores contact requests, visualizer accounts, and gallery images).
- Cloudflare — provides Turnstile bot verification.
- Google — provides Google Analytics and Google Ads.
- Our website hosting provider.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer.
6. Data Retention
We keep contact and estimate requests and visualizer account information for as long as needed to respond to you, provide our services, and maintain our business records, and as required by law. We will delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, or sooner upon a valid request.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you may ask us not to sell or share it (we do not sell it). To make a request, email us at tannerbairdjoseph1@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
9. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Links to Other Sites
Our site links to third-party sites such as our Facebook page. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Please review their privacy policies before providing them with information.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
